The human hand is both a sensory organ and a tool. It therefore has a central function in the development of the individual as well as in the development of humanity. Every person, and especially every artist, needs their hands to work and to think. The Stuttgart artist Daniel Wagenblast deals with this theme in the form of small wooden sculptures, which he produces almost as directly and casually as hand drawings.
