Municipal museums are usually dedicated to the task of making current and historical developments in art accessible to the citizens of the respective location. In addition, many municipal exhibition venues have the task of presenting and promoting regional art through exhibitions and acquisitions.

Under the title #vonhier, the Kunstmuseum Heidenheim has developed a format with which it fulfills this goal. At irregular intervals, the small temporary exhibition hall becomes a platform for the art of individual players in the Heidenheim art world.

Romina Ferrarotti’s artistic work is primarily dedicated to graphic art. The Argentinian-born artist specialises in various intaglio and relief printing processes, as well as drawing and small-format, filigree, symbolic objects. In the exhibition in the small temporary exhibition room, the artist presents works from three cycles of works that deal with the theme of femininity in different ways. In addition to her own works, the artist was also keen to show the prints of two artist friends from her native Argentina. The two guest artists are her teacher and mentor Patricio Bosch and the graphic artist Ana Noya.

Ferrarotti is a passionate printmaker who also teaches the variety of technical possibilities in workshops and courses. For this reason, she also offers an extensive accompanying programme to her exhibition.
